Obverse
One side of the 1st Kuwaiti coin (1 Baiza - KM#1) within circle. Occasion in Arabic at the top, and emblem of Kuwait at the bottom. The 1 Baiza coin shows the mint and date, and reads "Struck in Kuwait 1304" in Arabic. The emblem of Kuwait consists of the shield of the flag design superimposed on a falcon (Hawk of Quraish) with wings displayed. The falcon supports a disk containing a boom sailing ship, a type of dhow, with the full name of the state written (in Arabic) at the top of the disk. State name in Arabic and English are on the sides of the emblem. The other side of the 1st Kuwaiti coin (1 Baiza - KM#1) within circle. Occasion in English at the top, and Central Bank of Kuwait logo at the bottom. Value in Arabic and English on the sides of the logo. The 1 Baiza coin shows the tughra seal of Sheikh Abdullah II Al-Sabah, and reads "Abdullah" in Arabic. The logo consists of a boom sailing ship, a type of dhow, sailing to the left with a small flag on the right side.
