She was the Archer Goddess carrying her bows and arrows to fight the evil demons, She was one of the four guardians of the canopic jars holding the inside guts of the dead and the guardian of coffins as well. She is always represented as a woman wearing the crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. 

Net was also the Goddess of hunting and war, she was worshiped at the city of "Sais" known today as San El Hagar, she was identified by the Greeks with the Goddess Athena.
