Qatar Central Bank was established on August 5, 1993 to represent the monetary authority in the State of Qatar. The Bank has been granted the power to formulate monetary, banking and credit policies in the State of Qatar and Sheikh Abdullah Bin Saud Al Thani is the Governor of Qatar Central Bank .
