Finnish krone ( Finnish : Suomen markka ) The currency of Finland from 1860 until February 28, 2002, when it ceased to be legal. The marka was replaced by the euro (€), which was presented, in monetary form, on 1 January 2002.
The marca was divided into 100 penny. At the point of conversion, the fixed rate was at € 1 worth approximately equal to six brands, or specifically € 1 = 5.94573 brands.
Its symbol ( mk or FIM ) is issued by the Bank of Finland .
