Beryl is an aluminum beryllium cyclo silicate and its chemical formula Be3Al2 (SiO3) 6. The BRIL crystals can vary from very small sizes to sizes up to several meters. Full crystals are relatively rare. Pure beryl is colorless, but it is often color-impurities; the colors it acquires include green, blue, yellow, red and white.
