The fishing fleet is a gathering of commercial fishing vessels . This term may be used for all vessels operating in a single port , vessels engaged in fishing for a specific type of fish (eg "tuna fleet"), or all vessels of a particular country or region (eg "Japanese fishing fleet").

Fishing fleets are not formally organized as specific as warships , but due to weather conditions and time these ships have to leave and return at the same time, making them as if they were organized. Some countries organize fishing vessels in the form of fleets  As effective as the Soviet Union did.
